Went to Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau for some sight seeing and relaxing after shopping. We took the tram to the top of a mountain where we just relaxed and enjoyed the view. I watched an eagle who had been injured and will forever be in a confined space. He was not happy, you could tell, and this broke my heart. We then ventured to Mendenhall Glacier where we just walked and watched and listened. It is very peaceful and there was kind of an instinctual connection for me. This beauty is disappearing and I feel sad about that.

    We had to go back in the evening to Mendenhall.  It is too beautiful to see only once.
