We took a trip to Juneau to do the big food and supply shopping for the lodge. Imagine having to get on a ferry for 5 hours to go to Cosco. The ferry was down to one engine, otherwise it would have only taken 4 hours to get there. I realized how fortunate we were for the ferries mechanical problems, for it was during the last hour that we saw the most amazing views as we drifted into Juneau.
